On February 16, Portland Trailblazer Seth Curry and Washington Mystic Kristi Toliver joined NBA Legends Dell Curry, Bob Lanier and Felipe Lopez, WNBA Legend Nancy Lieberman, as well as North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, 40 local youth and 10 CMPD officers to tip off the 7th NBA Voices Building Bridges Through Basketball series. The 10-week program is a partnership between NBA Voices, Under Armour, RISE, Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department designed to bring together Charlotte youth and law enforcement for basketball programming and a leadership curriculum exploring concepts of conflict resolution activities that create space for open discussion and encourage mutual trust.
